    The tour will take you to the Sanctuary of Loretoand the Medieval town of Recanati, two important cultural and artistic attractions of the area.

    The tour starts in Marcelli di Numana or Sirolo. You will bike along the Musone river cycle path. Then, you will ride up to reach the sanctuary of Loreto, known as the “House of the Madonna.The legend tells that this is the house where the Virgin Mary received the Announcement from the Angel of her divine motherhood, by the Holy Spirit. Here, your guide will give you some minutes to get inside and have a look.

    From Loreto, you will move to Recanati. Along the way, you will admire the typical green rolling hills, and you will see an example of a Roman Aqueduct before reaching the medieval town. Recanati is a tourist destination due to its beauty but also as the birthplace of one of the most known Italian poets, Giacomo Leopardi. You will arrive at the famous “Piazzetta del Sabato del Villaggio in front of the House of Leopardi. During the tour, you will not have time to visit the House, but you will have time to take pictures of some iconic spots like the Colle dell’Infinito from where you can see the Apennine mountains, called Blue mountains by Leopardi. You will spend some minutes in the main square before heading back to Marcelli/Sirolo

    ATTENTION: in case of necessity due to weather reasons, or unforeseen episodes along the route, the guide can make diversions on alternative roads (at its complete discretion) to safely continue and finish the tour.

    I Bike Tours guidati sono disponibili su richiesta tutti i giorni da Giugno a Ottobre con partenza da Conero by Bike Point, Via Lepanto 10 Marcelli di Numana (Hotel Numana Palace) o previo accordi direttamente dal vostro hotel/agriturismo/b&b/casa vacanze/camping. Guide formate ed esperte vi accompagneranno in bici lungo il tour selezionato. I percorsi sono di media lunghezza e difficoltà proprio per rendere accessibile questa esperienza anche ai meno allenati o ai principianti grazie anche all’utilizzo delle nostre Ebike. I percorsi comprendono soste nelle più importanti bellezze culturali, paesaggistiche ed enogastronomiche del territorio. Su richiesta vengo effettuati tour personalizzati, con itinerari fatti su misura in base alle esigenze e interessi dei partecipanti. Il Tour può essere tranquillamente affrontato con indumenti sportivi standard e scarpe normali, per chi volesse un maggior confort consigliamo l’uso di un pantaloncino con fondello e guanto estivo da ciclista, consigliamo inoltre di portarsi qualche bevanda e piccolo snack ( come barrette, merendine o frutta) per alimentarsi e rinfrescarsi lungo il percorso.
    Guided tours are available everyday, from June 15 to September 15, with departures from Marcelli di Numana or Sirolo. Well trained and expert guides will lead you along the tour you choose. The routes have medium length and difficulty, to make this experience accessible to the least trained or beginners, thanks to the use of our E-bikes. All the tours include a stop at local wineries or farms with tasting of typical local products. After the break, we'll return to the point of departure; in case of some longer tours, a vehicle will be available to bring cyclists and bicycles back to the starting point. Tours must be booked at least one day prior, by 6:00 pm. Customized tours are available on request, with tailor-made itineraries based on the needs and interests of the participants. TIPS: The Tour can be easily made with standard sportswear and normal shoes, for those who want more comfort we recommend the use of a shorts with pad and summer glove for cyclists. We also recommend that you bring small snacks (such as bars or fruit) and some drinks to cool off along the way.
